Advocacy Program

Our Advocacy effort provides services to INA families statewide, in cases involving the Indian Child Welfare Act, working with tribes nationwide, INA families, local court and judicial systems, DJFS, Child and Family Services, private agencies, etc. If you are INA and are having a child custody issue, please contact us and NAICC will advise you as to whether your particular case is covered by the ICWA Law, and what assistance might be available to you. In addition, NAICC works with INA and other families in need providing advocacy services for a variety of situations. It is our contention that it is difficult enough for our trained workers to navigate through the varied service delivery systems, making it quite arduous for the ordinary person to get through the processes without some type of assistance. For this reason, NAICC tries to help our clients obtain the most comprehensive assistance available through our Advocacy Program.
